The Fire Element
‘Rm’ ‘ रं ’ is the seed-letter (beejakshar) of the Fire Element. In India, ‘Ram’ is the name of God which is a diluted form of this seed-letter ‘Rm’.
Chanting of the seed-letter ‘Rm’ helps in purification of the astral body. The Aspirant attains the capability of performing astral travel. All the bad karma from previous births are destroyed. The Manipur Chakra or the Solar Plexus chakra awakens and gets activated.
While performing the sadhana of the Fire Element the support of fire is taken. The Aspirant performs the sadhana by sitting in front of a dhuni (the continuously burning sacred fire) and attains victory over the Fire Element present in the body. Such aspirants are blessed and guided by Gods who emerge from the fire.
Based on the sadhana of the Fire Element, in India, different types of yagnas and havans are carried out. Due to this sadhana, the astral body attains a very superior brilliance. All the bad karma from the previous births get washed off and spiritual progress is attained. Their ancestors residing in the invisible plane also progress further.
There is a lot of importance attached to the Manipur Chakra and the Fire Element on the path to spiritual progress. It is because of this reason that 90% of the aspirants choose to perform the sadhana of the Fire Element over that of Water and Earth Elements, thereby achieving faster progress on the path of spirituality.
